New K-pop group member embroiled in serious allegations shortly after debut.
Hearts2Hearts, an eight-member girl group launched by SM Entertainment, has found itself in the midst of controversy just days after its official debut on February 24, 2025. Instead of the anticipated celebrations, eyes are now focused on accusations against one of its members, Ian, which have circulated rapidly across social media platforms.
Reports from Koreaboo indicate that an anonymous post detailed alarming claims of bullying involving Ian. The accusations suggest that she has a troubling history that includes violent behavior, highlighted by an incident where she allegedly “threw a rock in anger” at a boy, resulting in the destruction of a fish tank. According to the anonymous source, this incident escalated significantly, involving her mother in a confrontation at the school that led to the victim’s family being pressured into public humiliation.
These bullying allegations have brought forth numerous disturbing claims. According to the post, Ian allegedly engaged in sexual harassment towards some teachers and spoke disparagingly about them, alongside her close friends. The situation reportedly escalated further when claims emerged that she had physically assaulted a fellow student, an act that someone recorded and briefly shared online before removal.
One segment of the post reflected on Ian’s personal conduct in school, describing her as “uncooperative” and insinuating that classmates often attempted to distance themselves from her. The post also conjectured on the negative influence of her social circle and implied that her trajectory could have led to similar issues had she not pursued a career in entertainment.
After this initial revelation, another individual claiming to be Ian’s former classmate substantiated the bullying allegations, sharing pre-debut photographs as evidence. They expressed skepticism towards those doubting the claims, emphasizing the lack of access to personal technology among students during their elementary years, which made such documentation less common.
As of now, SM Entertainment has yet to release an official statement addressing the multitude of allegations leveled against Ian. The unfolding situation poses a significant challenge for the newly formed group as it navigates its early days in the competitive K-pop industry.
