Ice Poseidon, a well-known streamer on Kick, is drawing significant criticism due to his actions during his visit to Japan, with some viewers likening him to the problematic figure, Johnny Somali.
With a loyal following of over 183,000 fans, Ice Poseidon has gained notoriety for his engaging and sometimes controversial content. Known for hosting large-scale events, such as his viral ‘Hunger Games’ challenge, he is now under fire for his behavior while live streaming his Japanese adventures in a continuous 24/7 broadcast.
Critics are voicing their disapproval after witnessing his conduct in Japan, a nation renowned for its deep-rooted politeness and cultural etiquette. In one viral clip, Poseidon encourages a local to shout English insults aimed at the Yakuza, seemingly ignorant of the impact of his actions.
Another incident features Poseidon and a companion playing around in the aisles of a train, which starkly contradicts the expected decorum in Japan’s public transport systems.

Due to these incidents, viewers are making comparisons between Poseidon and Johnny Somali, a controversial broadcaster currently facing potential incarceration in South Korea due to his own livestreamed escapades.
Somali’s tenure in Israel was also marred by controversy; after being arrested twice while there, he faced physical confrontation from local residents in Japan after making derogatory remarks during his streams.
Following Ice Poseidon’s recent actions in Japan, social media is abuzz with disapproval, with one user commenting that “this won’t end well.”

Another onlooker expressed concern, predicting, “Nah, bro trying to get arrested out there,” regarding Poseidon’s apparent disregard for local customs.
Earlier, locals have already expressed discontent, with one individual confronting Poseidon and his party, urging them to dispose of their trash properly during an outing.
In reaction to the backlash, Poseidon made a provocative statement, asserting, “I can do whatever I want buddy. You ain’t sh*t and Japan is mine. I OWN you. Call me daddy now.”
