The Town Hall to Host Benefit Concert Celebrating Lin-Manuel Miranda
The Town Hall has announced an exciting benefit concert, The Town Hall Spring Shout: A Benefit Concert Honoring Lin-Manuel Miranda, scheduled for May 19th. This event promises to take attendees through a vibrant musical exploration of Miranda’s influential career, showcasing his musical inspirations and the artists who have shaped his artistic journey.
This special evening will gather Miranda’s dear collaborators, fellow performers, and inspirational figures, as they gather to celebrate his landmark achievements in the arts. The night will culminate with Miranda himself accepting The Town Hall Vanguard Award, a recognition of his exceptional contributions to the cultural landscape.
True to the essence of both Miranda and The Town Hall, the concert boasts a remarkable lineup of performers from some of his most celebrated works. Featured artists include:
From In the Heights: Janet Dacal, Robin de Jesus, Mandy Gonzalez, Chris Jackson, Alex Lacamoire, Priscilla Lopez, Olga Merediz, and Eliseo Roman.
From Warriors: Jasmine Cephas Jones, Eisa Davis, Aneesa Folds, Amber Gray, Julia Harriman, Sasha Hutchings, Gizel Jiménez, Kenita Miller, and Phillipa Soo.
Additionally, original cast members from Hamilton and Freestyle Love Supreme are expected to perform, with more special guests to be announced soon.

Alongside Miranda’s much-anticipated acceptance of The Town Hall Vanguard Award, the evening will also include a tribute to Tom Wirtshafter, Town Hall’s Board President Emeritus, who will receive the Town Hall Friend of the Arts Award in recognition of his dedication to the arts.
