The specifications for the Infinix Note 50s 5G+ have been disclosed, providing insights into the device’s camera capabilities, chipset, and battery life ahead of its anticipated release in India on Friday. Early teasers suggested that this smartphone is poised to be the slimmest within its segment, featuring a 144Hz curved AMOLED display. It will be available in two design options: a metallic finish and a vegan leather variant, the latter of which will incorporate a unique “scent tech” feature. This model is expected to complement the Infinix Note 50X 5G, which made its debut in India earlier in March.
Key Features of the Infinix Note 50s 5G+
Under the hood, the Infinix Note 50s 5G+ will be driven by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate system-on-chip (SoC), which is projected to achieve over 700,000 points in AnTuTu benchmark evaluations. The chipset is optimized for gaming, supporting frame rates of up to 90 frames per second.
Powering the device will be a robust 5,500mAh battery, capable of fast charging at 45W through All-Round FastCharge 3.0 technology. Users can expect it to run on XOS 15, which is built on the Android 15 operating system, and will include the company’s Folax AI assistant for enhanced user experience.
In terms of photography, the Infinix Note 50s 5G+ features a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor from Sony (IMX682) with the ability to record 4K video at 30 frames per second. The device will also boast several AI-powered functionalities, such as an AI wallpaper generator, AIGC Mode, and AI Eraser. According to the official microsite for the phone, it will include a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.78-inch full-HD+ 3D curved AMOLED display, enhanced by a 144Hz refresh rate and a 2,304Hz pulse-width modulation (PWM) dimming rate. With a ten-bit color depth and full coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, alongside Gorilla Glass 5 for protection, the display looks set to deliver an impressive visual experience.
Moreover, the Infinix Note 50s 5G+ will boast military-grade durability with a MIL-STD-810H certification and hold an IP64 rating, indicating resistance to dust and water. The Marine Drift Blue option in the vegan leather finish will utilize Microencapsulation Technology that infuses the back panel with a pleasant scent. Additional color options include Ruby Red and Titanium Grey, which will feature a metallic aesthetic.
