The indie title Schedule 1 has recently shared an update that sheds light on the anticipated console version of the game, a topic that has been on the minds of many players.
Upon its release on March 24, 2025, this open-world simulator, which immerses players in the world of drug dealing, quickly gained popularity and has become one of the top titles on Steam, despite still being in early access.
While many have commended the gameplay crafted by developer TVGS, its PC-exclusive availability has left some fans outside the gaming experience.
Recent updates stirred up speculation regarding a potential console version, and the game’s creator has provided new insights into this matter.
Schedule 1 creator provides update on console port
In a recent patch note, Tyler, the game’s developer, communicated via a post on X that he is enthusiastic about the idea of porting Schedule 1 to consoles once the game reaches the appropriate stage. He reassured players his announcement would precede the actual launch of the console version.
Currently, Tyler is aware of unofficial imitators under the same name appearing in the PlayStation store, stating, “Just confirming these are not affiliated with me in any way.”
The prospect of a future console release is uplifting for the player community; however, given that Schedule 1 is an indie project, fans may need to exercise patience as development continues. Prioritization of gameplay stability and existing content updates are critical for the game’s success on any platform.
Schedule 1 is off to an impressive start, with a content update rolling out soon after its early access debut, revealing the developer’s dedication to improvement. Upcoming features include bribery mechanisms, police evidence rooms, raiding systems, custom packaging, and labels, adding depth and excitement to the gaming experience.
