An updated schedule for the rollout of One UI 7, which operates on Android 15, has surfaced on Reddit, reportedly originating from the Samsung Members app. According to this information, the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6 are anticipated to start receiving the One UI 7 update on April 25. This will be followed by the S23 series, Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5, and other compatible devices around May 25, with a phased rollout expected to conclude by July. The specifics of whether this rollout will be global or limited to select regions remain unclear.

The rollout of One UI 7 has faced numerous challenges so far. However, a Reddit user recently shared what they claim to be an updated rollout timeline from Samsung, as noted by 9to5 Google.

In a posted screenshot, the user explained they received the update through the Samsung Members app, which stated, “Thank you for your interest in our products and services. We would like to inform users about the One UI 7 upgrade with Android 15 update for our Galaxy customers.”

The notification outlined eligible devices alongside projected rollout dates. The update for the Galaxy S24 series is set for April 25, coinciding with the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6.

Following this initial rollout, the Galaxy S23 series, along with the Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and other compatible models, should expect their updates by May 25. The rollout concludes with the Galaxy Tab A9, which will receive the One UI 7 update in July.

Samsung appears to be implementing the software release in stages, starting with its newest devices in April and leaving a one-month interval between phases until the final rollout on July 25. Nonetheless, it is still uncertain whether this schedule applies globally or is tailored for specific countries.

To provide some context, the One UI 7 was initially anticipated to launch widely, beginning in Korea on April 7, with other regions, including the U.S., slated for April 10. However, shortly after the rollout commenced, Samsung had to halt the process due to a bug affecting various devices. The company retracted the firmware from Over-The-Air (OTA) services, and announcements regarding its rollout in Vietnam were also removed.

According to an email provided to Android Central, Samsung stated that the “rollout schedule (for One UI 7) is being updated to ensure the best possible experience.” However, they did not specify the reasons behind pausing the firmware’s release.
