Actress Faces Challenges with the Media as She Navigates a High-Profile Case

Jacqueline Fernandez recently shared insights on how she copes with negative publicity during a challenging period in her life. In a conversation with Harper’s Bazaar, she emphasized the importance of relinquishing the constant need for approval, recognizing it as a common yet deceptive desire. This realization has been fundamental in maintaining her composure during the storm surrounding her involvement in a significant money laundering case linked to conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

In her interview, Jacqueline stated, “Positives and negatives are always going to be there…But what has helped me the most is giving up this constant desire and need to be loved and realizing that this is truly the last illusion we all have and that we all face. This is what has kept me free, humble, and calm.” She attributes her resilience to her strong faith in God and a practice of meditation, which allows her to discern genuine relationships and keep supportive people close. “I believe in God, I always have. It’s an extremely strong force in my life. And because of that, I never really fear anything,” she explained, adding that empathy is her greatest asset during trying times.

Earlier this year, Jacqueline accused Sukesh Chandrashekhar of using the media to tarnish her reputation. She reported incidents of alleged harassment and initially sought legal action against him. However, she later retracted her request. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has presented claims in the Delhi High Court suggesting that Jacqueline was aware of and involved in the use of illicit funds associated with Sukesh. This claim emerged in an affidavit responding to her plea to annul an FIR tied to the money laundering allegations.

Despite the ongoing legal challenges, Jacqueline Fernandez remains focused on her career, with upcoming projects including “Welcome To The Jungle,” featuring Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon, as well as “Fateh” alongside Sonu Sood.
