In Memory of Janice
THE JANICE JAM, founded by Broadway performer Matt DeAngelis, serves as a heartfelt tribute to his mother Janice, who succumbed to metastatic breast cancer in 2022. DeAngelis created this event to honor her legacy while simultaneously channeling the vibrant spirit of Broadway to uplift those affected by this disease. The Jam is a gathering initiative aimed at providing encouragement, celebrating resilience, and funding crucial research. Each year, DeAngelis, alongside a dedicated team of friends and industry colleagues, organizes a special night filled with Celebration, Remembrance, and Awareness, embodying Janice’s passion for theater and amplifying the voices of countless individuals battling cancer.
A Purpose-Driven Evening
The event’s proceeds go entirely towards grants awarded by the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), the largest private funder of breast cancer research worldwide. This commitment ensures that all net profits are directly invested into research initiatives aimed at combating this devastating disease.
