Jason Statham’s ‘Wrath of Man’ To Stream for Free

One of Jason Statham’s standout films, Wrath of Man, is set to become available for free streaming. Known for delivering action-packed performances, Statham takes on a more intricate and layered role in this thrilling 2021 release. While his movies can sometimes elicit mixed responses from viewers and critics, Wrath of Man has garnered widespread acclaim, appealing to both parties.

Directed by Guy Ritchie, marking their fourth collaboration, Wrath of Man features a talented ensemble cast that includes Holt McCallany, Jeffrey Donovan, Chris Reilly, Josh Hartnett, Laz Alonso, Raúl Castillo, DeObia Oparei, Eddie Marsan, and Scott Eastwood. The film is slated to stream on the free platform Tubi starting April 1, and is worth a watch for action enthusiasts. A brief synopsis reads:

“A mysterious and wild-eyed new cash truck security guard (Jason Statham) surprises his coworkers during a heist in which he unexpectedly unleashes precision skills. The crew is left wondering who he is and where he came from. Soon, the marksman’s ultimate motive becomes clear as he takes dramatic and irrevocable steps to settle a score.”

‘Wrath of Man’ Offers a Different Flavor of Action

In contrast to many of Statham’s more divisive works, Wrath of Man resonated well with audiences and critics, largely due to its engaging narrative and the actor’s darker portrayal of his character. The film received a commendable 68% approval rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes and an impressive 90% audience rating on the Popcornmeter.

Looking ahead, Statham has several exciting projects lined up. He is set to reprise his role as assassin Adam Clay in The Beekeeper 2 and will team up with acclaimed director Timo Tjahjanto for an upcoming film where he battles to clear his name after being wrongfully accused of murder in Mutiny. Furthermore, Statham is expected to return to the Fast and Furious franchise for the highly anticipated Fast & Furious 11.

This month also marks Statham’s reunion with director David Ayer for the action film A Working Man, scripted by Sylvester Stallone. The film, starring David Harbour, Michael Peña, and others, tells the story of Levon Cade, a former black ops operative drawn back into danger when his boss’s daughter is kidnapped. A Working Man is set to release in theaters on March 28, 2025. Below is the official synopsis:

“Levon Cade left behind a decorated military career in the black ops to live a simple life working construction. But when his boss’s daughter, who is like family to him, is taken by human traffickers, his search to bring her home uncovers a world of corruption far greater than he ever could have imagined.”
