Jean-Claude Van Damme Accused in Trafficking Case
Renowned actor Jean-Claude Van Damme, famous for his roles in action films, finds himself under serious scrutiny due to grave allegations against him.
According to Antena 3, the Romanian Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism has filed a complaint accusing Van Damme of knowingly engaging in sexual activities with Romanian women who were reportedly trafficked by a criminal organization.
The report details that the alleged events took place during the Cannes Film Festival, where Van Damme allegedly received five women as a “gift” from those involved in trafficking.
Adrian Cuculis, a lawyer representing one of the alleged victims, expressed concerns regarding the women’s vulnerability, suggesting that they may have been exploited under Article 182 of Romania’s Criminal Code.
Cuculis further elaborated in a translated statement to Antena 3: “Several Romanians currently under investigation for forming a criminal group and pimping allegedly offered Jean-Claude Van Damme five Romanian women—who are photo models in Romania—for him to engage in sexual relations. The individual who accepted these benefits was aware of their circumstances.”
As of now, Van Damme has not issued any public statement regarding these serious allegations.
