Jelly Roll Celebrates Major Weight Loss Milestone
Jelly Roll, the 40-year-old country artist known for his impactful lyrics and powerful voice, recently revealed that he has lost nearly 200 pounds, marking a significant milestone in his weight loss journey. In an appearance on Pat McAfee’s Big Night Aht live show on April 9, he shared his inspiring progress with viewers.
During the live session, McAfee remarked, “It looks like you’ve lost a person,” prompting Jelly Roll to step back and showcase his transformed physique. The audience responded with applause and cheers as the musician proudly shared his accomplishments.
As the celebration continued, McAfee pressed Jelly Roll for more details about his journey. “Do you mind giving an update on where you started and where you are now?” he asked.
“I started at 540 lbs.,” Jelly Roll responded enthusiastically. “I’m 357 lbs. [as of] this morning, baby!” His announcement was met with a wave of excitement from the audience, who celebrated his journey alongside him.
With aspirations on the horizon, Jelly Roll expressed his ambitious plans for the future. “I’m gonna lose another 100 lbs. to go skydiving with my wife in Sweden, baby!” he declared, sparking cheers from the crowd once again.
McAfee joined in on the celebration, playfully encouraging Jelly Roll while affirming his admiration for the artist’s journey. “Live a little bit! Well, we’re all proud of you; we need you to survive, brother. You’re one of the good ones,” he said, emphasizing the importance of health and well-being.
Jelly Roll’s relationship with his wife, Bunnie XO, has also captured public interest. The couple met at one of his Las Vegas concerts in 2015 and quickly fell in love. After dating for about a year, Jelly Roll proposed to Bunnie on stage during another concert, and the two chose to elope soon after, solidifying their bond in a whirlwind romance.
In December 2024, Jelly Roll joined Bunnie on her podcast, Dumb Blonde, where he discussed his weight loss journey and his aim to continue shedding pounds. “What I want the world to know … is that I didn’t become successful because of my weight. I became successful in spite of it. That’s insane,” he reflected, highlighting the determination behind his journey.
During the same podcast, Jelly Roll articulated his new goals, stating, “I wanna be on the cover of Men’s Health by March of 2026,” which he described as the first time he openly shared this aspiration. His ambitions reflect not only a commitment to personal wellness but also a desire to inspire others who may face similar challenges.
Bunnie expressed her pride in his ambitions, noting that his goal filled her with excitement. Their journey together stands as a testament to support and determination, illustrating how personal transformation can be achieved with dedication and love.
