Colter’s case revolves around the bizarre circumstances of a man named Scott (Steven Culp), who has vanished following his claims of being shadowed by unknown forces. Scott’s obsession with government conspiracies raises alarm for his worried daughter, pushing Colter to investigate. Complicating matters is Scott’s troubling behavior towards Blair (April Parker Shaw), an astrophysics professor who had received harassment from him and whose husband has since secured a restraining order. Together, they speculate over the implications of their experiences and the knowledge held by their family, as personal connections and government secrets come into conflict.
