JetBlue Launches Spring Break Flight Sale for TrueBlue Members

As spring break approaches, travelers have a fresh opportunity to capitalize on savings for their upcoming flights. JetBlue has rolled out a special promotion titled the ‘Big, Blue, Award Travel Sale’. This offer allows members of the TrueBlue frequent flyer program to book discounted flights using their accumulated points.

This limited-time sale features popular spring break destinations like Aruba, Bermuda, Cancun, Charleston, and Las Vegas. For instance, a one-way ticket from New York’s JFK airport to Orlando’s MCO airport could typically cost travelers around 17,400 points. However, during this promotional period, the same route can be booked for as low as 2,700 points, plus a minimal expense of $5.60 for taxes.

Travelers should be mindful of the sale’s deadline, which closes at 11:59 PM EST on March 12, 2025. While the offer is valid for travel between March 19 and June 11, 2025, some blackout dates apply throughout April, along with additional restrictions.

Discounted Routes and Additional Savings

According to Travel + Leisure, several enticing routes are available at reduced points costs, including:

  • Boston, MA (BOS) to Bermuda (BDA) for 6,100 points
  • Boston, MA (BOS) to Key West, FL (EYW) for 7,700 points
  • New York (JFK) to Belize City (BZE) for 7,400 points
  • New York (JFK) to Bridgetown, Barbados (BGI) for 4,300 points
  • Philadelphia, PA (PHL) to Boston, MA (BOS) for 3,400 points

Moreover, JetBlue’s website includes a user-friendly destination selection tool. This feature allows travelers to input their departure airport and view all available deals to various locations across the globe. In addition to the point redemption, most bookings also incur a slight cash payment for taxes and fees, as illustrated by the aforementioned $5.60.

Expansion and Improvements

JetBlue is actively expanding its service offerings with new routes to San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. Additionally, their JFK Terminal 4 is currently undergoing significant renovations aimed at enhancing passenger experience through improved seating and a diverse range of new vendors.

With these attractive offers and ongoing improvements, JetBlue is positioning itself to be a strong contender in the airline industry, especially for travelers looking to make the most of their spring break plans.
