Jimmy Kimmel Questions Trump’s Focus on Shower Water Pressure
During his recent monologue, Jimmy Kimmel offered his trademark humor while probing Donald Trump’s priorities, particularly in light of a peculiar executive order concerning shower water pressure.
Kimmel’s astonishment was evident as he queried, “What is he focused on?” after reviewing various pressing news items of the day. He then revealed, “I’ll tell you what he’s focused on. Shower heads. Yeah. ‘It comes out drip, drip, drip.’ I believe that’s how Stormy described it too. Right?”
He further elaborated, noting the absurdity that Trump, an adult, found it necessary to address such a trivial matter with an executive order aimed at “making water pressure great again.” Kimmel remarked on the contrast between this focus and Trump’s vague healthcare proposals, joking, “He still only has ‘concepts’ of a healthcare plan, but he’s cracking down on shampoo.”
Kimmel then shifted his focus to a humorous anecdote about how an employee announces what Trump will sign, before circling back to the executive order. He quoted the White House statement, which claimed, “no longer will shower heads be weak and worthless,” and criticized the GOP’s acceptance of such a statement as normal behavior. He mused, “If Joe Biden spent this much time talking about the showerheads, not only would they vote to put him in a home, we would let them do it.”
With a dose of sarcasm, Kimmel remarked, “Why does Donald Trump even need a shower? You’d think the three-hour tongue bath he gets every morning from ‘Fox & Friends’ would be sufficient to keep him clean.”
