Jonathan Majors and Grace Jabbari Resolve Legal Conflict
Jonathan Majors has reached a resolution in his ongoing legal battle with ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, as she has officially withdrawn her defamation and assault lawsuit against him. This dismissal includes a stipulation that prevents the claims from being filed again in the future.
Documents submitted on Thursday indicate that both parties have agreed to a stipulation stating, “all claims against Defendant in the above-captioned action are hereby dismissed with prejudice.” This essentially means that Jabbari has relinquished her legal claims, and with the “with prejudice” designation, she cannot pursue these allegations in court again.
The circumstances leading to this decision remain unclear. It is unknown whether Jabbari and Majors reached a settlement or if other factors influenced her decision to drop the suit. Efforts to obtain comments from their legal representatives have yet to yield a response.
Earlier in March, Jabbari filed the lawsuit, outlining various allegations of abuse that she claimed occurred during their relationship, which began in 2021. Among the accusations, she described an incident where Majors allegedly threw her against a shower wall and hurled objects at her during a confrontation.
Additionally, she accused Majors of assaulting her in a vehicle in March 2023, an incident that was central to Majors’ assault trial. The trial concluded with Majors being found guilty of misdemeanor assault and harassment, though he was acquitted of several other charges.
In April 2024, Majors received a sentence that included one year of counseling, but he did not face jail time. However, the allegations made by Jabbari, along with his subsequent conviction, have significantly impacted Majors’ career trajectory, which was once considered very promising.
Majors has consistently denied the allegations of abuse brought forth by Jabbari. Attempts to contact his representatives for further comments have not been successful at this time.
