Josh Groban Returns with New Album and Broadway Appearances
In an exciting development for fans of Josh Groban, the artist recently announced the upcoming release of his retrospective album. To celebrate, he made a special appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where he delivered a moving performance of the beloved classic “Over the Rainbow.” Viewers can catch this heartfelt rendition now!
Originally, Groban recorded “Over the Rainbow” for his 2015 album titled Stages, which featured a selection of songs from various Broadway productions. This cherished track will be included in his forthcoming compilation, Gems, set to be released on May 2. The album aims to highlight his musical journey and showcase a variety of his most popular hits.
Alongside the album release, Gems will launch Groban’s highly anticipated five-night engagement at The Colosseum at Caesars as part of his show, Josh Groban: Gems — Exclusive Las Vegas Engagement. Fans can expect to see him perform live in Las Vegas, with the shows scheduled for May. Additionally, Groban is slated to take the stage at The Hollywood Bowl for two nights on September 5 and 6 later this year.
Groban’s connection to Broadway is well established; he made a memorable debut in 2016 as Pierre in Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1912, which garnered him a Tony nomination. Most recently, in Spring 2023, he returned to the Broadway scene in a highly anticipated revival of Sweeney Todd, taking on the iconic title role.
