Julien Baker and Torres to Launch U.S. Tour Following New Album Release

Julien Baker and Torres are set to release their collaborative album Send a Prayer My Way on April 18, marking a significant milestone in their artistic partnership. Both artists are excited to showcase their new country-infused songs live as they embark on a U.S. tour this spring, performing selections from this ambitious project.

The tour will commence with a special performance at the Big Ears Festival in Knoxville, Tennessee, at the end of March, before traversing the Midwest, South, and East Coast. Aside from their headlining shows, the duo will also appear at various music festivals including the Kilby Block Party, Newport Folk Festival, and Green River Festival.

This album represents the first time Baker and Torres have combined their songwriting and performance talents, although the concept has been in development since 2016. The lead singles from the album, “Sugar in the Tank” and “Sylvia,” have already made waves, with the former being performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
