How to book: To get started, simply click “Continue” to select and purchase your vouchers from Travelzoo. After securing your voucher(s), follow the provided instructions to make your reservation with the hotel. For questions regarding availability, you can reach the hotel at 888-505-0688. Guests can combine multiple vouchers for extended stays, though some restrictions may apply. Availability at the discounted rate is limited, so early booking is recommended to secure your preferred dates. Any promotional value that goes unused will be forfeited at checkout. Vouchers must be redeemed in one visit.
Voucher cancellation and refund policy: If you opt to cancel within 14 days of purchasing your voucher(s) and do not have an active hotel reservation, Travelzoo will issue a full refund. Once a reservation is made, any changes or cancellations are subject to the hotel’s specific policies and could incur fees or result in forfeiting the voucher. To cancel a reservation, you must do so directly with the hotel prior to requesting a refund for the voucher. Refunds can be initiated online by accessing “My Account.” After the initial 14 days, the voucher is nonrefundable. When purchasing, you may also choose to keep the vouchers refundable until their expiration for an additional fee, but note that the hotel’s cancellation policy will still apply if you have booked dates.
Hotel cancellation policy: After making a reservation, any modifications or cancellations will be governed by the hotel’s policies. To avoid penalties, cancellations must occur at least 45 days before your arrival. Failing to adhere to these policies could lead to extra fees or the loss of your voucher.
Occupancy guidelines: Pricing is based on a maximum of 8 guests for Cascade boats, 10 guests for Summit boats, and 12 guests for Grand Sierra boats.
Additional charges specific to the hotel: A refundable security deposit of $750 is required at the time of booking. Fees for late returns, cleaning, or damages may be deducted from this deposit. Guests will be liable for any additional fees exceeding the amount of the security deposit. Although guests are responsible for all fuel expenses, they can utilize the gas credit included in this promotion. This credit is applicable solely for fuel purchased for the houseboat during or at the conclusion of the trip and cannot be transferred, refunded, or reused if not used.
Other hotel policies: The houseboats are accommodating to pets. Please review Bridge Bay’s pet policy on their website or contact them for details. Guests must be of legal drinking age to consume alcohol. A California Boater Card is not necessary to rent a houseboat or smaller crafts. A rental agreement must be signed upon arrival, and all participants are required to sign a waiver and release form before boarding the houseboat, which can be requested via email ahead of your visit. Compliance with all houseboat rules and policies set by Bridge Bay at Shasta Lake is mandatory for all guests.
