Lively’s Legal Actions Following Allegations Against Baldoni
Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni collaborated on the film It Ends With Us, based on the popular novel by Colleen Hoover. Recent legal developments have surfaced allegations against Baldoni regarding inappropriate comments made during the filming process.
According to an amended legal complaint filed by Lively, Baldoni reportedly made a suggestive inquiry about her personal life with husband Ryan Reynolds. Specifically, he allegedly asked if the couple experiences “simultaneous climax” during intimate moments, a question Lively deemed intrusive, as disclosed by Page Six.
The complaint further details that Baldoni attempted to persuade Lively to portray an orgasm on camera during a critical scene. Following her agreement with the director to exclude this scene, Baldoni is accused of insisting on a version that depicted the characters reaching climax concurrently.
Additionally, Baldoni purportedly defended his request by sharing that he and his partner find it significant to climax together, which led him to question Lively about her experiences with Reynolds in that regard.
Lively’s allegations extend beyond her own experience, suggesting that Baldoni’s behavior made several other women feel uncomfortable on set. While she chose not to identify these individuals, she referenced claims that Baldoni engaged in inappropriate conversations with actors Isabela Ferrer and Alex Neustaedter after filming a scene that involved intimate interactions.
The legal documents highlighted that Baldoni reportedly approached the two actors after filming and remarked, “I know I’m not supposed to say this, but that was hot,” and further questioned, “Did you two practice this before?” This scene included Ferrer and Neustaedter portraying younger characters in a romantic engagement.
This legal action adds to the controversies surrounding It Ends With Us, raising significant concerns about appropriate conduct in film productions. As of now, Baldoni and his representatives have not issued a public response to these serious allegations.
