Attorney Rips Publicist Stephanie Jones …
Her Lawyers Fire Back

Justin Baldoni is intensifying his legal battle against publicist Stephanie Jones, who is being held responsible by Baldoni’s legal team for instigating the ongoing situation involving him and Blake Lively.
Recently, Justin’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, submitted a revised set of counterclaims aimed at Stephanie after her lawyers appeared on the show “Extra” to discuss their perspective on the contentious legal disputes.
In a statement released to TMZ, Freedman expressed his frustration with Jones, stating, “With the emergence of new evidence almost daily, we found it necessary to revisit our counterclaims against Stephanie Jones and her company, Jonesworks. It is unsurprising that Ms. Jones would instruct her legal representatives to publicly distort the facts regarding the alleged ‘subpoena’ and the Vanzan lawsuit, which has been adeptly investigated by a dedicated group of online detectives.”
Freedman elaborated on the nature of the lawsuit, emphasizing, “A simple review of the ‘Van-sham’ lawsuit reveals that the Lively parties appear to be engaged in their own disinformation campaign. They have purposefully bypassed standard processes with a frivolous complaint that lacks a named plaintiff or defendants, which ensures that no one is aware of or can contest their efforts to procure information they are not entitled to access.”
He further criticized the claim made in the secret complaint, stating, “To assert, as Vanzan (referring to Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds) does, that they are ignorant of the identities of their own employees and contractual partners is utterly absurd. We are merely scratching the surface of a broader, more complex scheme.”
Freedman made it clear that Jones and her agency are equally implicated in any wrongdoing. He reiterated, “We stress that any purported smear campaign is solely the work of the Lively parties and Ms. Jones, in tandem with the New York Times.”
He concluded his remarks with a commitment to pursue accountability, stating, “We are determined to expose the true culprits and uncover the facts.”
On the other side of the dispute, Stephanie’s attorney Maaren Shah responded to the accusations, asserting to TMZ, “The resolution of this case will be grounded in the overwhelming evidence demonstrating that Wayfarer Studios and Ms. Abel intentionally violated their contracts with Jonesworks, which the defendants have noticeably failed to refute.”
Shah continued, “The defendants’ feeble effort to construct their own case against Ms. Jones consists of little more than thoroughly debunked conspiracy theories and media tricks devoid of factual support. The undeniable reality is that the defendants have not yet provided a substantial defense to Ms. Jones’s claims. Everything else is merely a distraction.”
Additionally, Stephanie’s co-counsel, Kristin Tahler, contributed her views, asserting, “The defendants’ reversal on previously made claims, coupled with their lack of new evidence and the issuance of an overly lengthy and confusing statement, indicates desperation from a team that admits to being in a precarious position. Beneath their bravado lies a complete failure to address the misdeeds substantiated by the evidence, which is quite revealing.”
