Kai Cenat Sets New Twitch Subscriber Record with Epic Stream
Kai Cenat has once again set a new benchmark for Twitch, reclaiming the title for the highest number of subscribers gained during a single stream.
The 22-year-old content creator has been actively streaming on the platform for the past 30 days, featuring an array of notable guests such as Snoop Dogg, Serena Williams, and Bill Nye throughout his marathon sessions.
During this period, Cenat reportedly attracted 727,694 subscribers, although Twitch has yet to officially confirm the final count. This impressive total surpasses the previous record of 326,252, which was established by IronMouse in October, thus breaking Cenat’s earlier record from 2023. Read more here.
In an engaging conversation during his stream, Snoop Dogg joined Cenat on the second day to discuss his upcoming album and later provided a virtual tour of his lavish home in Los Angeles. Viewers were treated to glimpses of the rapper’s impressive recording studio, as well as luxurious amenities including a basketball court, arcade, and even a personal casino.
Shortly after, tennis icon Serena Williams participated in a video call where they delved into discussions about her favorite fast-food meals. Williams humbly shared that her elder sister, Venus, was the superior tennis coach, owing to her greater patience in imparting the sport’s techniques.
Additionally, the well-known science educator Bill Nye visited Cenat’s home, where they hosted a series of scientific experiments for the audience, demonstrating phenomena such as the rate at which ice cubes melt on different surfaces.
These extensive streaming events, known as subathons, are crafted by streamers to boost their subscriber count. Cenat aptly named this session “Mafiathon 2,” in tribute to his loyal followers, whom he affectionately refers to as the “Kai Mafia.”

With a current subscriber base exceeding 15 million, Cenat has committed to contributing 20% of his earnings from this stream to a school project he is supporting in Nigeria.
Typically, subathons are designed to be uninterrupted, featuring guest hosts who fill in while the primary streamer takes required breaks. However, this particular event faced a hiccup when it was temporarily halted due to police intervention prompted by false emergency reports made about Cenat’s residence.
