As the holiday season approaches, many individuals start to relax and embrace the festive spirit. However, Katy Perry is keeping busy.
As a prominent performer at the iHeartRadio Z100’s annual Jingle Ball, Perry has been traveling across the nation, entertaining fans with popular hits like “I Kissed A Girl,” “Roar,” and “Teenage Dream.” Alongside her musical performances, she is bringing a sense of holiday cheer with eye-catching outfits, starting with a bold reindeer-themed outfit, followed by a daring sheer gown that stands out as a highlight of holiday party fashion.
Katy’s Daring Sheer Gown
The holiday season often calls for glamorous attire, and Perry, known for her flamboyant fashion statements, chose a gown fitting for the season and her adventurous style.
On December 16, during the Philadelphia stop of her tour, the 40-year-old singer arrived wearing a striking floor-length gown designed by Alex Perry. The sleeveless creation boasted a high neckline and a sheer merlot fabric that elegantly draped over her upper body while revealing a sequined bandeau across her chest.
The sheer element of the gown stops at the waistline, with the skirt made from the same glittery material as the bandeau, allowing for a flowing and draped silhouette.
Adding to the daring design, the gown includes a thigh-high slit, providing a bold view of her leg.
To complete her glamorous ensemble, Perry opted for pointed-toe black heels and chose a deep “cherry mocha” lipstick, while her signature black hair cascaded down in loose curls.
Getting into the Holiday Spirit
While Perry hasn’t released a Christmas album as of now, her enthusiasm for the holiday season is evident. On December 12, she shared images on Instagram featuring another daring sheer dress—this one a playful minidress adorned with a plush wine-colored panel across the chest and waist, coupled with a sultry black lace cutout.
The festive season seems to be arriving early for Perry, who continuously finds creative ways to embrace holiday fashion.
