Last night, Kendrick Lamar and SZA launched their Grand National Tour with a spectacular performance at Minneapolis’ U.S. Bank Stadium. The concert featured a sprawling setlist of 52 songs, highlighting their collaborative chemistry as they alternated on stage and introduced their latest works—Lamar’s highly anticipated GNX and SZA’s SOS Deluxe: Lana. Lamar kicked off the show with “Wacced Out Murals,” making a striking entrance from inside his iconic black Buick, while SZA captivated the audience with visually striking elements, including a video of a female praying mantis consuming its mate during her performance of “Kill Bill.” The duo also performed together on several tracks such as “30 for 30,” “Doves in the Wind,” “All the Stars,” “Love.,” “Gloria,” and their chart-topping single “Luther.” Details on the complete setlist and video highlights from the concert can be found below.
Lamar’s recent accolades include five Grammy wins at the 2025 ceremony, where he garnered honors for Song and Record of the Year with his track “Not Like Us,” a pointed response to Drake. Additionally, he made history as the first solo rapper to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2025, bringing out notable guests including SZA, Serena Williams, and Mustard. The pair also released a music video for “Luther” earlier this month, further solidifying their artistic partnership.
Meanwhile, SZA delighted fans with an appearance on Sesame Street, performing alongside Elmo and other beloved Muppets. This year, she earned the Grammy for Best R&B Song for “Saturn,” also expanding her Lana album by adding four new tracks: “Take You Down,” “Open Arms (Just SZA),” “PSA,” and a revamped version of “Joni.” The Grand National Tour is set to run through August and will include performances across Canada, Europe, the United Kingdom, and various locations throughout the United States.
