Ananya Panday Dazzles at the Premiere of Kesari 2 in Mumbai
Ananya Panday was the center of attention at the premiere of Kesari 2 in Mumbai, showcasing her elegance in a breathtaking deep purple saree.
The saree, adorned with detailed silver embroidery along its edges, was paired with a striking halter-style blouse that brought a modern twist to the traditional attire, enhancing her graceful appearance.
Opting for a delicate makeup look, Ananya embraced a natural aesthetic with radiant skin, a touch of blush, nude lips, and accentuated eyes. Her hair was neatly styled in a sleek bun, which perfectly complemented her ensemble and highlighted her neckline.
In anticipation of the film’s release, Ananya shared a collection of exclusive images on her Instagram earlier today, which quickly gained popularity among fans. Among those who engaged with the post was her close friend Suhana Khan, as well as several other notable personalities from the film industry.
The posts included pivotal scenes from the movie, showcasing a gripping courtroom drama and depicting significant moments like the infamous Jallianwala Bagh massacre. One of the standout images featured Ananya alongside Akshay Kumar in a tense courtroom scene, eliciting enthusiastic comments from fans and a casual response from Suhana, who simply remarked “done” in the comments section, alongside a flurry of heart emojis from admirers.
Suhana Khan also graced the premiere, captivating attendees in a chic black one-shoulder maxi dress that highlighted her style.
Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, Kesari 2 dives into a pivotal yet somber chapter of India’s past, centering on the lesser-known narrative of C. Sankaran Nair and the historical events surrounding the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
This film serves as a spiritual sequel to Akshay Kumar’s 2019 production, Kesari, detailing how Chettur Sankaran Nair courageously confronted the British authorities following the 1919 tragedy. Alongside Akshay as Nair, the film features Madhavan portraying his antagonist, Neville McKinley, and Ananya in the role of Dilreet Gill. It is adapted from the book “The Case That Shook the Empire” by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat, produced collaboratively by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective, and Cape of Good Films.
