Kesari Chapter 2 Achieves Rs 4.50 Crore on First Monday

Kesar Chapter 2 Box Office Collection on Day 4: Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh is experiencing a robust run since its release. After just four days in cinemas, the film has grossed approximately Rs 34 crore net in India.
As reported by Sacnilk, the film secured around Rs 4.50 crore on its first Monday, demonstrating solid audience retention following a successful opening weekend. Kesari Chapter 2 debuted with Rs 7.75 crore on Thursday and exhibited impressive growth, collecting Rs 9.75 crore on Friday and Rs 12 crore on Saturday, achieving over a 25% increase in daily earnings.
The film’s occupancy rate stood at 11.83% on Monday, with attendance showing a steady increase as the day progressed. Set against the backdrop of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, this legal drama showcases Akshay Kumar’s portrayal of the resolute lawyer C Sankaran Nair, who takes on the British Empire in a high-stakes courtroom battle. R Madhavan plays Neville McKinley, Nair’s adversary, while Ananya Panday features as Dilreet Gill.
Produced in partnership by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective, and Cape of Good Films, Kesari Chapter 2 was released in theaters on April 18.
