KFC Unveils New Chicken Tenders and Flavorful Offerings

KFC is making a bold move in the fast-food chicken market with the launch of its new chicken tenders, setting the stage for competition with its latest offerings.

On Monday, KFC announced the introduction of its Original Recipe Tenders, claiming they stand apart from typical chicken tenders. According to the company, these tenders are double hand-breaded using KFC’s famous secret blend of 11 herbs and spices and cooked to a perfect golden brown. To kick off their debut, KFC is promoting the tenders as part of a $5 Original Recipe Tenders Box, which includes three of the new tenders, a serving of Secret Recipe Fries, and two signature dipping sauces.

“Consumers love bold flavors, and chicken tenders are a well-loved choice,” stated Catherine Tan-Gillespie, KFC’s chief marketing officer and chief development officer in a statement. “With our unique combination of flavors, we’re confident that our new tenders will come out on top in the ongoing chicken tender competition.”

In addition to the tenders, KFC has introduced a fresh sauce to enhance the dining experience. The new Comeback Sauce is described as a creamy and zesty blend, designed to complement the Original Recipe perfectly. Customers can also enjoy other options such as the Sticky Chicky sauce, which combines sweet and tangy notes with ingredients like pineapple and garlic, or the original KFC Sauce, known for its balanced tangy sweetness.”

KFC’s promotional materials emphasize the advantages of its offerings compared to competitors, asking why customers should opt for other flavor profiles when they can experience the renowned KFC Original Recipe. The company further taunted rivals by highlighting that customers can enjoy the new tenders on Sundays, a play on the popular fast-food chain known for its Sunday closures.

In a bid to appeal to family-oriented consumers, KFC is also rolling out a Tenders + Nuggets Family Meal Deal, which includes six chicken tenders, twelve chicken nuggets, two large sides, four biscuits, and six dipping sauces for under $25. Customers will need to place this order online or through the KFC app to take advantage of this offer.

Additionally, KFC is providing special promotions for members of its KFC Rewards program, featuring “13 Days of Daily Deals” from October 19 to October 31.
