Flo Milli, Rebecca Black, and G Flip are set to perform at an upcoming Pride Month event.
The Outloud Music Festival, which began in West Hollywood, is making its inaugural appearance on the East Coast in Boston. Rolling Stone has confirmed that Kim Petras and Trixie Mattel are the headliners for this festival scheduled for June 21 at the Stage at Suffolk Downs.
“OUTLOUD knows what’s needed: celebrating queer talent, delivering great music, and creating a vibrant atmosphere!” commented Mattel in a statement to Rolling Stone. “It’s a privilege to bring this energy to Boston, and I’m excited to perform.”
The festival’s lineup also includes a diverse range of artists such as rapper Flo Milli, pop singer Rebecca Black, alternative drummer G Flip, and Frankie Grande, brother of Ariana Grande.
In addition to the main acts, emerging artists like Oompa, Big Body Kweeng, Hannah Rad, and Math3ca will be featured at the event.
Jeff Consoletti, the founder of Outloud, expressed the significance of this festival in light of current socio-political challenges. “Now more than ever, it’s crucial to uplift queer voices and create opportunities for LGBTQ+ artists,” he stated. “Bringing the Outloud Music Festival to Boston feels like a full-circle moment for me amidst the current climate of adversity faced by our LGBTQ community.”
The festival is being co-produced by JJLA and The Bowery Presents, with tickets available to the public starting April 18 at 10 a.m. ET, beginning at $69.
