Kriti Kharbanda Announces Typhoid Diagnosis on Social Media
Kriti Kharbanda has recently revealed her battle with typhoid, stating that she has been unwell for the past week.
The Bollywood actress, known for her active presence on social media, updated her followers via an Instagram story. On a Sunday morning, she disclosed her health condition, sharing that the infection has kept her bedridden. In her message, she encouraged fans to send not only their love but also any advice that might aid in her recovery.
Kriti’s heartfelt post included a note saying, “Hello all! Little life update. Typhoid has taken over and the last week has been (nauseated face emoji). Hoping to bounce back over the next couple of days. Send pyaar and gyaan that u think will help.” This candid approach reflects her connection with her fans and her openness about personal challenges.
Just days before announcing her illness, Kharbanda shared moments from her intimate Lohri celebration alongside her husband, Pulkit Samrat, and their families. This marked their first Lohri together since their marriage in March 2024. Their social media posts showcased joyous moments around a sacred fire, with the couple seen dancing and celebrating with loved ones. A touching family photo featured the newlyweds with their parents, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
In her Lohri celebrations, Kriti sported a vibrant red suit embellished with floral patterns, while Pulkit complemented her look in a solid blue kurta pyjama ensemble. Kriti joyfully captioned the pictures, “Kaafi cute! Hamari pehli Lohri!” signifying the love and warmth shared during the event.
Kriti made her acting debut in the 2009 Telugu film ‘Boni’ and ventured into Bollywood with the 2016 release ‘Raaz: Reboot’. She steadily gained recognition with standout performances in films such as ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’, ‘Housefull 4’, and ‘Pagalpanti.’ Her latest work includes the romantic comedy ‘14 Phere’, which premiered on Zee5 in July 2021, where she starred opposite Vikrant Massey.
Looking ahead, Kharbanda is set to appear in the comedy film ‘Risky Romeo’, directed by Abir Sengupta, featuring Sunny Singh.
