Kylie Jenner continues to embrace her signature latex style, undeterred by the intense heat of the desert. Following the launch of her exclusive latex Khy collection in collaboration with Poster Girl last month, Jenner has been consistently showcasing her bold fashion choices, the latest being at Coachella.
Kylie’s Latex Look
While many festival attendees opt for comfort, Jenner took a different approach. On April 11, she surprised fans with an appearance at Revolve Festival’s pool party, co-hosted by her canned cocktail brand, Sprinter. Party-goers, including notable figures like Julia Fox and BLACKPINK’s Lisa, had the opportunity to sample the brand’s newest offering, the fruity Palm Springs Pack, which features flavors such as pink lemonade, mango, pineapple, and strawberry.
As a hands-on CEO, Jenner didn’t merely attend to promote her brand; she also sported a vibrant mango yellow outfit that aligned with one of the drinks’ eye-catching cans. Her ensemble consisted of a halter dress characterized by a micro mini length and a daring plunging neckline, highlighting the striking rubber-like material that made the outfit unmistakable.
Although the dress currently isn’t for sale on Khy’s website, there’s speculation it may be part of the label. Jenner has a history of wearing pieces from her collections before they officially launch, suggesting fans should stay alert for potential new styles.
Her Controversial Shoes
In addition to her eye-catching dress, Jenner’s choice of footwear was equally noteworthy. She opted for heeled thong sandals, a decision that added an element of controversy given their impracticality for the festival’s sandy surroundings.
A New Styling Hack
Jenner has established a trend of coordinating her outfits with the drinks she is marketing. Earlier this month, in a campaign for the Palm Springs Pack, she wore a pineapple yellow latex bandeau paired with a matching high-waisted skirt, perfectly complementing the logo of the pineapple-flavored drink.
Last May, Jenner captivated audiences in another Sprinter campaign, showcasing a vintage-inspired look with a white cropped button-down paired with booty shorts and red mules—a clever match for her drink’s color scheme.
Shortly thereafter, she featured in more promotional materials for Sprinter’s summer collection alongside close friends Anastasia “Stassi” Karanikolaou and Victoria Villarroel. The trio strived for a cohesive visual, each donning bikinis that matched the cans they held.
This method of synchronization between fashion and branding is not only a tradition but a clever marketing strategy that effectively captures audience attention.
