Actor Vikas Sethi Passes Away at 48
Vikas Sethi, a prominent figure in Indian television during the 2000s, known for his roles in popular serials like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahiin To Hoga, and Kasautii Zindagi Kay, has tragically passed away on Sunday, September 8, at the age of 48. According to reports, he succumbed to a cardiac arrest while asleep. He is survived by his wife, Jhanvi Sethi, and their twin sons, born in 2021.
Vikas was best recognized for his performances as Swayam Shergill in Kahiin To Hoga and Prem Basu in Kasautii Zindagi Kay, both of which contributed significantly to his fame in the television industry.
In 2021, he faced health challenges after undergoing leg surgery, a period during which he shared updates with his fans on Instagram. Despite a doctor’s recommendation for an extended bed rest, Vikas expressed his determination to recover quickly and return to his active lifestyle, highlighting his passion for fitness and connection with his followers.
That same year, Vikas and Jhanvi celebrated the birth of their twin boys, sharing the joyous news with his audience on social media. He joyfully noted, “A baby is god’s opinion that life should go on…” echoing his optimistic outlook on life.
