Lana Del Rey Premieres New Track “57.5” at Stagecoach Festival
Lana Del Rey made headlines during her performance at the 2025 Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio, California. The singer unveiled her latest song, “57.5,” and teased a secret romance with a prominent country artist.
In the bold lyrics, Del Rey sings, “I kissed Morgan Wallen/ I guess kissing me kind of went to his head.” She humorously advises, “If you want my secret to success/ I suggest don’t go ATVing with him when you’re out west,” hinting at playful yet complicated interactions.
The unveiling of “57.5” sparked curiosity as it debuted on the festival’s Palomino stage, with the title reflecting Del Rey’s impressive monthly Spotify listenership in the millions. Just before introducing the song, she told her audience, “This will be the last time I’m ever going to say this line,” raising anticipation among fans.
While the specifics of her alleged encounter with Wallen remain unclear, Billboard has reached out to his team for further comments.
In the song’s chorus, Del Rey expresses admiration for her partner, who “really loves me,” seemingly referring to her husband Jeremy Dufrene, whom she wed in September 2024.
During her set, Del Rey wore a striking white gown against a backdrop designed to evoke a charming rural scene at twilight. The performance included a duet with George Birge on his popular track “Cowboy Songs,” a rendition of Tammy Wynette’s classic “Stand by Your Man,” and a crowd-pleasing singalong to John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads.”
Alongside the debut of “57.5,” Del Rey showcased several new tracks from her upcoming studio album, which is expected to lean more toward country influences. While details about the album’s title and release date remain under wraps, the setlist featured songs such as “Ride,” “Husband of Mine,” and “Henry, Come On.”
This upcoming project follows her critically acclaimed album Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, which climbed to No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in April 2023. Throughout her career, Del Rey has celebrated two top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including her 2013 anthem “Summertime Sadness” and her collaboration on Taylor Swift’s 2022 track “Snow on the Beach.”
