The anticipated Oppo Reno 14 Pro is set to take the stage later this year as the follow-up to the recently launched Reno 13 Pro model, which garnered attention for its innovative features. Recent design renderings of the Reno 14 Pro have emerged, providing insights into its aesthetic and functional enhancements. Notably, this upcoming device is expected to feature a revamped triple rear camera setup, integrated into a newly designed camera island. Additionally, the Reno 14 Pro is likely to showcase a flat OLED display and may include a versatile ‘Magic Cube’ button.

Expected Design of the Oppo Reno 14 Pro

Recent visuals shared by Smartprix reveal that the design of the Oppo Reno 14 Pro’s rear panel is reminiscent of its predecessor, yet distinct changes are noted particularly in the camera arrangement. Unlike the Reno 13 Pro, which housed its three cameras in separate rings, the forthcoming model appears to have a more integrated layout for the primary and ultrawide cameras within the same module, while the periscope camera is positioned to the side above the LED flash.

Specifications of the Oppo Reno 14 Pro

As per reports, the Oppo Reno 14 Pro is expected to operate on the Android 15 platform, complemented by Oppo’s customized ColorOS 15 interface. It will feature a flat OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a shift from the quad curved display seen in the current model.

The camera setup promises to be impressive, with a 50-megapixel primary camera supported by optical image stabilization, alongside a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera offering 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. This configuration indicates a focus on high-quality photography capabilities.

Undoubtedly, details regarding the processor and battery capacity remain undisclosed. However, similar to upcoming devices from both Oppo and OnePlus, the Reno 14 Pro is expected to introduce the ‘Magic Cube’ button—an adaptable feature akin to the Action Button introduced in Apple’s recent iPhone models, allowing for customizable functionality.

Although insiders suggest that the Oppo Reno 14 Pro could debut in China as soon as next month, with a potential release in India by mid-year, enthusiasts should approach these projections cautiously, as official announcements from Oppo regarding the Reno series successors have yet to materialize.
