Huawei Set to Launch New Smartwatch Line in Berlin

Huawei is gearing up for an “Innovative product launch” event in Berlin on May 15. Anticipation is building around the unveiling of its latest smartwatch models, the Watch 5 and Watch Fit 4. Recent sightings on a retail website have provided insights into their design, pricing, and specifications ahead of the official reveal.

Design Expectations for the Huawei Watch 5 and Watch Fit 4 Series

The yet-to-be-announced Huawei Watch 5 was recently discovered by Suomimobiili on a Lithuanian retailer site, Bigbox. Before the listings were removed, the publication obtained images showcasing its design, which closely resembles other models in Huawei’s smartwatch lineup. The Watch 5 features a circular display and includes a digital crown for navigation. Available sizes are expected to be 42mm and 46mm, with options for both steel and silicone straps.

The smaller Watch 5 variant is rumored to come in color options including aurora green, moon white, stellar beige, and dawnlight, while the larger 46mm size may be offered in midnight black, jupiter brown, twilight purple, and space silver.

Imagined specifications suggest the Huawei Watch 5 will include various health tracking features such as SpO2 (blood oxygen saturation) and heart rate monitoring, alongside a step counter and calorie tracker. The device is anticipated to sport an AMOLED display with a resolution of 466×466 pixels. Additionally, it may have an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, complemented by a sapphire glass display for durability.

Further details have emerged regarding the Huawei Watch Fit 4 and Fit 4 Pro, which are expected to feature 1.82-inch AMOLED displays. The Pro version is rumored to integrate the TruSense health monitoring system, while the standard model will reportedly utilize previous sensor technology.

The Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro showcases a square dial and interchangeable bands, available in colors such as black, blue, and green. The more standard Huawei Watch Fit 4 is anticipated to be offered in black, grey, purple, and white.

Pricing Insights for Huawei Watch 5 and Watch Fit 4

Initial reports indicate that the pricing for the Huawei Watch 5 will start at around EUR 449 (approximately Rs. 43,000) and could reach up to EUR 649 (around Rs. 62,000). The Huawei Watch Fit 4 is projected to be priced at EUR 219 (about Rs. 21,000), while the Fit 4 Pro could cost EUR 299 (around Rs. 28,000).
