Lego Unveils New Mario Kart Set: The Largest Yet
Lego has revealed an exciting addition to its Mario Kart lineup, which initially made its debut last August. This latest set, featuring Mario in his iconic standard racing kart, stands out as the largest build in the Mario Kart series to date, measuring 12.5 inches in length and 8.5 inches in height.
Currently, the set is available for preorder on Lego’s official website at a price of $169.99, with an anticipated shipping date of May 15, 2025, meaning fans will have a short wait before they can experience the thrill of the race.
This impressive set contains 1,972 pieces and showcases the largest articulated Mario figure Lego has produced. The character features a meticulously designed face, along with posable arms and a head, allowing for varied display options.
When not in use for racing, the set includes a buildable display stand, enabling enthusiasts to showcase the kart “at a dynamic angle.” This feature simulates the visual effect of the kart speeding or drifting, adding a dynamic flair to any display.
The announcement coincides with Nintendo’s promotions for “MAR10 Day,” celebrated on March 10th, a day dedicated to honoring Mario, the beloved character that has become a symbol of gaming culture.
