GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS has unveiled a new EP titled “Songs from Your Friends & Neighbors,” showcasing the talent of Tony Award winner and Grammy Award nominee Lena Hall. The EP is now available for streaming and digital download.
This five-track collection features songs that Hall performs in her role on the popular Apple TV+ series, where she stars alongside well-known actors Jon Hamm, Olivia Munn, and Amanda Peet. The EP artfully merges elements of theatre with rock, pop, and indie influences, emphasizing Hall’s dynamic vocal range and artistic expression. The tracklist includes notable covers like “Fake Plastic Trees” by Radiohead, “Hold Me Now” by Thompson Twins, “Wise Up” by Aimee Mann, “Doll Parts” by Hole, alongside an original piece by Hall titled “Two More Days.” A new episode of “Your Friends & Neighbors” is released every Friday, and the EP was produced by Justin Craig. In her role as “Ali Cooper,” Lena portrays the younger sister of “Coop,” a character played by Jon Hamm. The storyline quickly reveals that Ali is a singer-songwriter grappling with mental health challenges stemming from a past romance, as she seeks to rebuild her life and musical career. Throughout the series, viewers will see Hall’s character perform both her own original songs as well as covers that cross various musical genres.
