“Even on our worst day, we would still outperform the majority of bands out there,” proclaimed the singer ambitiously.
Liam Gallagher continues to elevate expectations for a potential Oasis reunion in his signature style.
In a recent post on his favored platform, Twitter, he responded sharply to an unnamed individual who posed the “ridiculous question”: “Are Oasis gonna be as good as you once were because when some bands get back together they’re not as good.”
Gallagher’s retort? “I said listen here you CUNT even on our bad day we’ll still wipe the floor with majority of bands out there.”
Embracing the role of Oasis reunion promoter, Gallagher has been relentless in countering criticism and skepticism. For instance, just weeks after the reunion announcement in September, he defended his talent against detractors who criticized a recent solo performance tied to a high-profile boxing event. In his characteristic brash style, he told those unhappy fans, “You ain’t real fans, you’re just IMPOSTERS. If you have tickets to sell, I’ll gladly take them off your hands; we don’t want the likes of you at our concerts next year anyway,” he stated in another tweet.
Gallagher also did not hold back when responding to members of the band Fontaines D.C., who expressed indifference about the Oasis reunion. He remarked, “I’ve seen better dressed ROADIES. They look like a shit EMF.” Additionally, he voiced his discontent with a Saturday Night Live sketch parodying the infamous sibling rivalry between him and his brother Noel, questioning, “Are they meant to be comedians?”

Gallagher even took a jab at his own fans, acknowledging their frustration about high ticket prices and the on-sale experience for Oasis’ reunion shows. “OASIS are back your welcome and I hear their ATTITUDE STINKS good to know something’s never change,” he tweeted in September, even humorously noting that his own mother struggled to secure a ticket.
The highly anticipated Oasis reunion tour is set to kick off in the U.K. next summer, with a North American leg planned for late August. Following these performances, fans can expect additional shows in Australia and South America.
