WWE superstar Liv Morgan has voiced her concerns about the hygiene of wrestling fans, suggesting they should prioritize personal cleanliness.
The issue of poor hygiene among fandoms isn’t new. Over the years, various communities at conventions have faced similar criticism.
In a notable incident in 2023, professional gamer Brian ‘Cosmos’ Kalu attracted attention when an opponent accused him of unpleasant body odor after a match.
Similarly, a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament in 2024 saw a female player withdraw from competition due to overwhelming odors from fellow participants.
Now, it appears that wrestling fans are similarly affected, as highlighted by Liv Morgan, who made it clear she prefers to keep her distance from fans exhibiting poor hygiene.
Liv Morgan: WWE Fans Should Prioritize Hygiene
During an interaction captured at WrestleMania 41 weekend with Adrian Hernandez, the YouTuber queried both Liv and her tag team partner, Raquel Rodriguez, for recommendations on fan behavior.
In the midst of advising fans to show gratitude to their favorite faction, The Judgment Day, Hernandez reminded attendees to maintain good hygiene.
Morgan responded assertively, saying, “Are y’all dirty? Are y’all smelling? I don’t let y’all get close enough to me for me to smell your dirt.”
Rodriguez added that her height allows her to avoid the odors emanating from fans, as she stays above most fans’ armpits.
Morgan humorously commented, “I don’t let any men get close enough to me because I’m like ‘daddy dom daddy dom daddy dom’. So I don’t get in the vicinity to smell y’all’s nastiness. Take a shower, what the hell?” referencing her onscreen partner Dominik Mysterio.
In light of Morgan’s remarks, it may be wise for WWE fans to reevaluate their hygiene practices, especially if they wish to engage with wrestlers during meet-and-greets or other events.
