With all tickets sold out, a staggering 65,000 fans attended, as reported by promoter Ocesa. This event stands as one of the largest concerts ever held by the iconic artist in Mexico. The expectations are high for the follow-up concert on Sunday, December 1.
Luis Miguel elevated his show to harmonize with the grandeur of GNP Seguros Stadium, incorporating massive screens that ensured clear views for all attendees. The production quality, a hallmark of his performances, was particularly impressive, delivering crystal-clear audio that highlighted his powerful vocals.
Adorned in a classic black suit, white shirt, and black tie, Luis Miguel made a striking entrance on a raised stage, reflecting his commitment to high standards in his performances. Audiences were clearly engaged, singing along enthusiastically to his extensive catalog of hits.
His setlist featured a mixture of pop classics like “Será Que No Me Amas,” “Amor, Amor, Amor,” “Suave,” and “Culpable o No,” alongside a selection of beloved boleros. Songs such as “Como Yo Te Amé,” “Solamente Una Vez,” “Somos Novios,” and “Todo y Nada” were also highlighted, evoking nostalgia among fans.
A particularly memorable aspect of the concert was the mariachi segment, showcasing his deep affection for Mexico through notable songs like “Guadalajara” and “La Bikina.” The culmination of the evening included a vibrant pyrotechnic display, concluding with the timeless “Cucurrucucú Paloma,” which garnered thunderous applause from the audience.
Following the Sunday performance, Luis Miguel is set to take the stage again at Arena Ciudad de México on December 8 and 10. These dates come as a rescheduled opportunity after he postponed shows originally slated for late October due to undisclosed health concerns.
While initially planning to conclude this monumental tour in Mexico City, which grossed $318.2 million and attracted 2.2 million attendees over its first 146 shows, Luis Miguel recently announced via social media that he will instead wrap up the tour on December 17 in Buenos Aires at the Campo Argentino de Polo, much to the surprise and delight of his fans.
