A social media personality associated with the MAGA movement, known for his provocative videos focusing on homelessness in San Francisco, has been indicted on federal charges related to child sex abuse material.
Ricci Wynne, 39, who goes by the handle Raw Ricci and boasts a following of over 100,000 on Instagram, was initially arrested last November. At that time, he faced charges of pimping and pandering by procuring, as reported by HuffPost. Authorities apprehended him and a female associate soon after they arrived at San Francisco International Airport.
Wynne has attracted significant attention on social media by expressing concerns about criminal activities in San Francisco, amassing more than 29,000 followers on X as well.
During the period leading up to his arrest, San Francisco police had already identified Wynne as a suspect in the assault of a 15-year-old minor. Evidence discovered on his mobile devices and in his upscale apartment suggested that he was running a sex work operation that extended across various cities, as highlighted by The San Francisco Standard.
According to information from the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, Wynne pleaded not guilty to the prior allegations.
In a recent development, a federal grand jury has indicted Wynne on two separate counts of producing child pornography, based on materials produced in April and October of 2022 involving two minors. He is currently held in federal custody, where a conviction could result in a sentence of up to 30 years in prison along with a potential fine of $250,000.
Wynne built his online presence by portraying himself as a hardline advocate against crime, often creating content that included confrontational interactions with homeless individuals and depictions of drug use in San Francisco’s SoMa and Tenderloin neighborhoods. His activism has led to appearances on prominent media platforms, including guest spots on “Jesse Watters Primetime” and “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”
