Malavika Mohanan, widely recognized for her impactful performances in regional films, has recently garnered attention for her role in the Bollywood action film *Yudhra*, which debuted on September 20. In a revealing conversation with Filmygyan, she discussed her enduring friendship with fellow actor Vicky Kaushal, illuminating a bond that originated in their early years.
In a lighthearted rapid-fire segment, Malavika described Vicky as a “forever friend,” sharing that their relationship began when they were just toddlers. “I’ve known him since I was 1 year old. He is my oldest friend. We were neighbors and lived in the same building during our childhood. That’s how our families became close, leading to a lifelong friendship,” she explained.
Malavika fondly reminisced about a memorable picnic they had as children at Aksa Beach, where they enjoyed snacks and played along the sands. Emphasizing the importance of tradition, she noted, “We keep meeting every Diwali. We celebrate together every Diwali. That’s like a family tradition we have,” signifying their commitment to maintaining their connection through the years.
She also attended Vicky Kaushal’s wedding to Katrina Kaif in Jaipur, capturing moments of her trip on Instagram, though she chose to avoid explicit references to the wedding festivities.
