Manchester City has firmly denied all allegations and asserts that they possess a robust collection of “irrefutable evidence” to support their case. Guardiola remarked on the situation, saying, “I am happy it starts soon and hopefully it finishes soon for the benefit of all of us,” indicating that a timely resolution is crucial not only for the club but for all teams in the Premier League waiting for clarity.

The City manager emphasized the importance of the independent investigation, asserting his hope for a fair trial, and he stated, “I wish from deep in my heart to go to the trial, the independent panel – and I say it again, independent panel – and as soon as possible release what happened, and we will accept like always we have done.”
