ALL ARTS, the dedicated streaming platform and television channel based in New York, is set to unveil a fresh array of original programming from May through June as part of its initiative, Broadway and Beyond.
Starting on Thursday, May 1, with the premiere of House Seats: Mandy Gonzalez in Concert, the 2025 lineup will showcase weekly premieres across various platforms including the ALL ARTS broadcast channel, YouTube channel, official website, and via its free streaming app.
Highlights of the upcoming programming include the return of the New York Emmy-nominated docuseries Broadway Sandwich (airing from May 7 to June 11), the documentary Playing the Palace (premiering on May 13), and the acclaimed digital series How Art Changed Me (featuring episodes on May 19 and May 26). Additionally, a special feature titled House Seats: The Gathering: A Journey to Grace is scheduled to premiere on June 18.

In Playing the Palace, hosted by Emmy-winning journalist Frank DiLella, audiences will explore the rich history and recent revival of Broadway’s Palace Theatre. This documentary traces the venue’s evolution from its origins in vaudeville to its contemporary renovations, highlighting its legacy as a platform for iconic artists such as Judy Garland, Bob Hope, and Liza Minnelli.
Featuring interviews with co-owners James L. Nederlander and Stewart Lane, along with Broadway stars like Bernadette Peters and Ben Platt, the film will include archival footage showcasing the theater’s development, which involved a $2.5 billion project aimed at preserving the historic structure while raising it 30 feet above Times Square.
This documentary complements the PBS American Masters film LIZA: A Truly Terrific Absolutely True Story, which explores the life and contributions of one of the Palace’s most celebrated headliners and is currently streaming.
How Art Changed Me

Harada will share her experiences growing up in Hawaii and the profound impact that theater has had on her identity and career, while Ricamora, currently portraying Abraham Lincoln in Oh, Mary!, will reflect on the relationship between performance and discovering oneself.

This documentary follows the creation of The Gathering: A Collective Sonic Ring Shout, a multidisciplinary performance staged at The Kennedy Center. Featuring artists such as Nona Hendryx, Toshi Reagon, Carlos Simon, and Joel Thompson, the film explores how artistic expression serves as a pathway for remembrance, healing, and joy.
