Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh Spotted at Manish Malhotra’s Sunday Gathering

Famed fashion guru Manish Malhotra is gearing up to launch his production career with the upcoming film, Gustaakh Ishq. Directed by Vibhu Puri, the movie stars Vijay Varma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah, and Sharib Hashmi in significant roles. Recently, Manish hosted Vijay and Fatima for a cozy lunch at his residence, sharing a glimpse of their delightful gathering on Instagram.
In his social media stories, Manish shared a cheerful collage featuring the trio. He captioned it, “Sunday lunch at home with my @stage5production #gustakhishq pair Fatima Sana Shaikh and Vijay Varma.”
In the snapshots, Vijay sported a blue shirt, while both Fatima and Manish coordinated in stylish black outfits. Notably absent from the lunch were fellow cast members Naseeruddin Shah and Sharib Hashmi.
Originally titled Ul-Jalool Ishq, the film recently underwent a rebranding. Manish unveiled the fresh title on Instagram, along with a new poster that showcases the lead actors in a tender embrace.
The poster illustrates a poignant moment, with Vijay gently holding Fatima close, employing soft color palettes to set an emotionally resonant tone for what promises to be a compelling love story.
The caption accompanying the poster read, “Gustaakh Ishq is the new title of Manish Malhotra’s Stage5 Production’s upcoming film, formerly named Ul Jalool Ishq. The film stars the legendary Naseeruddin Shah (@naseeruddin49), Vijay Varma (@itsvijayvarma), Fatima Sana Shaikh (@fatimasanashaikh), and Sharib Hashmi (@mrfilmistaani).”
Gustaakh Ishq marks the third project from Manish Malhotra’s Stage 5 Production, which he established in September 2023. The banner has previously released films like Train From Chhapraula and Bun Tikki, but the schedules for these earlier projects remain undisclosed.
In addition to Gustaakh Ishq, Vijay Varma is set to star in the upcoming web series Matka King, premiering on Prime Video later this year. Fatima Sana Shaikh will also be featured in Metro…In Dino and Aap Jaisa Koi.
