The winter chill may still be lingering, but Manitoba is gearing up for a bustling summer camping season. The provincial government is preparing to facilitate bookings for a range of accommodations, including campsites, cabins, and yurts, across its provincial parks.
Environment Minister Mike Moyes announced on Friday that the reservation system will launch starting April 7, with a planned staggered rollout for various locations and types of sites. “As spring arrives, Manitobans are eager to immerse themselves in nature,” Moyes stated, acknowledging the public’s enthusiasm for outdoor experiences.
“This year, with many Canadians opting to explore nearby destinations, Manitoba’s provincial parks stand out as excellent spots for adventure, relaxation, and exploration,” he added.
