Maren Morris has announced the release of her upcoming single “Carry Me Through,” set to debut on March 27, as a precursor to her new album, Dreamsicle, scheduled for release on May 9.
As summer approaches, Morris is ready to unveil her latest studio effort, Dreamsicle. This album represents her first major project since 2022’s Humble Quest. Over the past few months, she has teased her fans with select tracks from the new LP, including collaborations like “Cut!” with Julia Michaels and the reflective “I Hope I Never Fall in Love,” which was featured in her 2024 EP, Intermission.
The EP Intermission captures a collection of heartfelt emotions across five tracks, all of which will be included in Dreamsicle. The album will kick off with the track “Lemonade” and will conclude with “Holy Smoke,” providing a full-circle experience for listeners. The single “Carry Me Through” serves as the first new offering from the album and is one of 14 tracks that showcase Morris’s versatility and artistic vision.

In a recent interview with Elle, Morris expressed how the album embodies her artistic evolution and personal growth. “It represents a lot of influences, a lot of leaps of faith — just true artistic freedom, which is what I’ve always wanted,” she explained. She emphasized that her journey through motherhood and adapting her business approach post-pandemic have significantly influenced her creative process. “There are no training wheels. I’m being my truest, most secure self,” she remarked, highlighting the importance of vulnerability and authenticity in her work.
