Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, the operator of the medical transport plane that tragically crashed in Philadelphia on Friday night, resulting in seven fatalities and 19 injuries, asserted that the aircraft was meticulously maintained and operated by highly skilled pilots.
Shai Gold, the managing director of corporate strategy and communications for the air ambulance service, informed ABC 6 news that there were “absolutely no indications” of any mechanical issues with the aircraft prior to the incident.
According to Gold, the plane’s maintenance history is “impeccable,” and the company strictly adheres to manufacturer specifications in all operational practices.

Gold emphasized that the team aboard was exceptional and well-trained.
“The flight team consists of very experienced professionals,” Gold stated. “We select only the top candidates to operate our air ambulances. These individuals are both cautious and seasoned in their roles.”
The firm highlighted the crew’s dedication to their responsibilities, emphasizing their commitment to providing care with passion.

He noted that the crash is particularly perplexing, given the high standards of the crew involved.

“It’s highly unusual for an aircraft to experience a nosedive immediately after takeoff,” Gold noted. “While I cannot speculate on the cause, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will conduct a thorough investigation. We will patiently await their findings.”
The company has assured that it will fully collaborate with the NTSB during the investigation.
