During her debut on the podcast alongside her friend Jamie Kern Lima, CEO of IT Cosmetics, Meghan provided lighthearted commentary reflecting on her seven-year romance with Prince Harry. Utilizing a metaphor from the beloved 1985 Nintendo game, she shared insights into their partnership.
“‘H’, that man loves me so much and look what we’ve built,” Meghan expressed. “We’ve created a beautiful life together and have two wonderful children. I always liken it to the climax of Super Mario Brothers—what’s the mission? To defeat the dragon and rescue the princess. That’s my husband.”
She added, “He’s also quite the handsome one, if you haven’t noticed. My husband possesses a remarkable heart alongside his good looks.”
Meghan candidly discussed the evolution of their love, noting, “At first, it’s all butterflies, but we jumped right into challenges together shortly after we started dating. Now, after seven years and some breathing room, we can truly enjoy each other again. I feel like it’s even more of a honeymoon period for us now.”
