The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are embracing the holiday spirit with their family, sharing their 2024 holiday card on December 16. This card features the first new images of their children, 5-year-old Prince Archie and 3-year-old Princess Lilibet, in several years.
The card showcases a montage of significant moments from the past year, including a delightful image of Archie and Lilibet seen from behind, running towards their parents accompanied by their three dogs during a park outing. As Prince Harry playfully noted at the WellChild Awards in October, both children inherited his red hair, while Lilibet has inherited her mother Meghan’s long, thick hair.
The card conveys a warm message, stating, “On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year,” set against a cheerful green background.
In addition to their family photograph, the card includes five other images of Harry and Meghan taken during their philanthropic travels to Nigeria and Colombia this year, as part of their work with the Archewell Foundation. Reports indicate that the couple also sent out a separate holiday card to close family and friends, which remains private.

The couple has maintained a low profile for their children since stepping back from their roles as senior members of the British royal family in 2020, with the kids having been seen only briefly in their Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan. Despite this, Harry and Meghan have occasionally provided insights into their children’s lives.
In a February appearance on Good Morning America, Harry mentioned that Archie and Lilibet are “doing great,” while humorously stating that details about fatherhood are largely “classified.” He expressed his gratitude, noting, “The kids are growing up like all kids do, very, very fast. They’ve both got an incredible sense of humor and make us laugh and keep us grounded every single day, like most kids do. I’m just grateful to be a dad.”
During an event in Colombia focused on empowering women, Meghan shared that their daughter, even at such a young age, is not hesitant to express her thoughts. “I encourage our daughter to do so — who at 3 has absolutely found her voice, and we are so proud of that,” she stated.
