The Traitors Season 3 came to an exhilarating conclusion on March 6, marked by intense rivalries among the contestants. Unlike previous seasons, the Faithfuls emerged victorious, prompting a host of reactions from fans.
To summarize, the finale unfolded directly after a nail-biting cliffhanger from the previous week’s roundtable discussion, where the contestants faced a tight decision on whether to eliminate Traitor Danielle Reyes or Lord Ivar Mountbatten. Britney Haynes, who has a complicated history with Danielle from their time on Big Brother, ultimately cast the critical vote that led to Danielle’s departure.
This decision would eventually haunt Britney. The remaining Faithfuls, including Dylan, Gabby Windey, Dolores Catania, and Ivar, astutely recognized that Danielle had offered kind words to everyone except Brittany as she was banished. Furthermore, Britney’s emotional response during the vote raised suspicions among the group.
A Leap Of Faith(fuls)
In a surprising turn of events, the Faithfuls not only decided to eliminate Britney but also chose to place their trust in one another. Their cohesion paid off, as each member revealed they were part of the Faithful alliance.
This victory represents several milestones for the U.S. version of the Traitors franchise. It marks the largest group of Faithfuls to win and is notably the first victory for contestants from Bachelor Nation and Bravo.
Significantly, this is the first time that none of the eventual winners originated from competitive gaming backgrounds, making the finale a divisive episode. However, many fans rejoiced at this unexpected outcome.
The Season’s MVP
“WHAT A GREAT ENDING. It’s SOOO WILD to me that a group of non-gamer Faithfuls won over a bunch of high-caliber gamer Traitors,” one fan expressed on X (formally Twitter). “And I genuinely think Dylan played a damn huge part in that. He’s definitely the MVP Faithful this season.”
The finale also captured fans’ attention with Dylan’s uplifting persona, reminiscent of Troy Bolton, bringing a lighthearted element to the finale as noted by another viewer.
“I’m content with Gabby and Dylan winning. And them allowing Dolores and Ivar to tag along was very sweet,” said another fan, while another highlighted Gabby and Dylan as the breakout stars of the season.
The appreciation for the entire Faithful team was widespread. “Dolores is the first person from Bravo to win; I know that’s right!” one fan praised, while another remarked, “she served [as] justice for the housewives that left way too early.” In a humorous note, one viewer quipped, “Dolores finally voting right ten round tables later was poetic.”
While Ivar might not have been on many fans’ radar throughout the season, one comment praised the “balance” he brought to the game, with another declaring his victory as “the funniest thing to ever happen.”
Love For A Fallen Traitor
Although the Faithfuls clinched the title in Season 3, the competition remained fierce until the very end, garnering recognition for Danielle’s strategic gameplay. “Say what you guys want, but Danielle has been one of THEE best traitors to do it. she did what she had to do to (almost) win,” an admirer commented.
“Danielle losing so close to the end is heartbreaking,” lamented another viewer. “She played such a fascinating game and could have won the entire thing as an OG Traitor. She will not be forgotten and was a huge part of why this season was so compelling.”
