Mika Singh Supports Salman Khan Amidst Threats from Lawrence Bishnoi Gang
Bollywood icon Salman Khan has recently been the target of serious threats issued by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, stemming from the infamous 1998 blackbuck poaching case. This incident, which occurred in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, involved Khan allegedly hunting two endangered blackbucks while filming for ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain.’ The Bishnoi community, known for its reverence towards the blackbuck, has expressed deep offense over the actor’s actions. In light of this troubling situation, singer Mika Singh has publicly expressed his solidarity with Khan during a recent live performance.
Mika, recognized for his contributions to several of Salman Khan’s hit songs, including ‘Jumme Ki Raat’ and ‘Dhinka Chika,’ took the stage at a recent event and dedicated a performance of his popular track ‘Ganpat’ from the film ‘Shootout At Lokhandwala’ directly to Salman. During this heartfelt moment, he addressed the threats in his unique style, stating, “Salman Khan ke liye ek line hai, ‘Bhai hu mein bhai, tu fikar na kar. Uski m*a ki, uski bhen ki, jo dekhe idhar. Aapun ko bata de kabhi ho gaye phantar. Sabki ph*tni apane naam se apun jaye jidhar.’”
The audience, especially Salman Khan’s fans, reacted positively to Mika’s assertive gesture, with many taking to social media to commend both the singer and the film star. Comments ranged from calling Mika “a true friend” to expressing heartfelt support, highlighting the strong bond shared amongst celebrities in challenging times.
In response to the credible threats, Salman Khan has been assigned Y+ level security, with his residences in Bandra and Panvel under strict surveillance. The security arrangements were bolstered following the assassination of NCP leader Baba Siddique, an act claimed by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which raised alarms about the safety of high-profile figures in the industry.
Despite these tensions, Salman remains committed to his work. While engaging with fans on the set of ‘Bigg Boss 18’, he candidly shared, “I am going through a lot in my life, and I feel like I shouldn’t have come here today. But you have to do what you have to do.” His resilience in the face of adversity reflects his dedication to his career.
On the cinematic front, fans can look forward to Salman Khan’s upcoming project, ‘Sikandar,’ which co-stars Rashmika Mandanna and is anticipated for an Eid 2025 release.
